Services for E. C. Mapp of Bogue Chitto are 11 a.m., Saturday,Feb. 16, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in RiverwoodMemorial Park.
Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Mapp, 74, died Feb. 14, 2002, at his residence. He was bornin Jasper County on Dec. 2, 1927, to Claude Raymond Mapp andMetehebell Herrington Mapp.
He was the retired owner of Mapp Well Service and Mapp Trucking.He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his second wife, EdithMapp; and his son, Jack Mapp.
Survivors are his wife, Ann Messemore Mapp of Brookhaven; hisson and daughter-in-law, Gary and Rita Mapp of Edwards; hisstepsons and daughter-in-law, Stacey and Kim Saucier of Brookhavenand Kenny Saucier of McComb; his daughters and sons-in-law, Sheilaand Donnie Williams of Jackson and Debbie and Ron Hendrix ofMadison; his stepdaughter and son-in-law, Cindy Saucier Dickersonand Phil Dickerson of Houston, Texas; his brother, Joe Mapp ofHeidelberg; his sister, Mary Thornton of Bogue Chitto; and eightgrandchildren, four stepgrandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren andtwo great-great grandchildren.
