Services for Henry R. Taylor of Braxton are 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb.17, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall with burial inHolly Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Braxton.

Mr. Taylor, 89, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at Natchez RegionalHospital. He was born in Simpson County on Oct. 16, 1912, to thelate Wiley and Lou Harris Taylor.

He was a retired carpenter. He was a member of Holly GroveBaptist Church.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Mildred Rayborn Taylor.

Survivors are his sons, Robert Taylor, Billy Taylor and LangleyTaylor, all of Braxton, and Jackie Taylor of Monticello; daughters,Shirley Pearson of Dallas, Virginia Johnson of Sontag and PatsyFuller of Brookhaven; brothers, Eugene Taylor of Mendenhall andMelvin Taylor of Waxatchie, Texas; and 20 grandchildren.
