Services for Martha Gaye Welter Miller of Wesson were 11 a.m.,Wednesday, Feb. 20, at Wesson Baptist Church with burial in WessonCemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home was in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Miller, 57, died Feb. 18, 2002, at her daughter’s home inVicksburg. She was born in Lincoln County on March 15, 1944, toJohn A. Welter Sr. and Nora Mae Welter Myers.

She was a retired store clerk. She was a member of WessonBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her father; her daughter, ConnieKaye Miller; her grandparents, Prentiss and Martha Manning andBernard H. Welter and Martha Welter.

Survivors are her mother, Nora Mae Myers of Wesson; herstepfather, John T. Myers of Wesson; her son, Tommy Miller ofMemphis; her daughters, Gina Pettis of Vicksburg and Lisa Burns ofWesson; her brother, John A. Welter Jr. of Wesson; her sisters,Peggy Peets of Wesson and Judy Herrington of Brookhaven; and sevengrandchildren.
