Services for Bill Cowart of McCall Creek are 11 a.m., Friday,Feb. 22, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in ConcordBaptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Cowart, 78, died Feb. 20, 2002, at Franklin MemorialHospital. He was born in Franklin County on Oct. 17, 1923, toNeedham C. Cowart and Lillie A. Ratcliff Cowart.

He was retired from the military. He was an Army veteran ofWWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his brother, ClydeCowart.

Survivors are his wife, Annie Cowart of McCall Creek; hisstepdaughter, Sara Kale of Gulfport; his stepgrandchild, LoriSmall; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
