Graveside services for Mary Delle Posey Young Kirby of Lumbertonare 2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 10, at Friendship Baptist Church.

Mrs. Kirby, 92, died Friday, March 8, 2002. She was born inBrookhaven, to the late Nolie and Katie Posey.

She was a retired educator after 39 years of teaching inMississippi and Louisiana. She was a member of First Baptist Churchin Lyman, Miss.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Charles Raiford YoungSr.; brothers N.L. Posey and Charles Posey; and her sister RuthaPosey Calcote.

Survivors are daughter, Gloria Y. and David Z. Hartfield ofRunnelstown; sister-in-law, Hattie Posey of Brookhaven; and hersister Bernice Posey and Robert Brent of Biloxi; and numerousnieces, nephews and a host of friends.
