Services for Bernice Harris Armstrong of Hazlehurst are 2 p.m.,Tuesday, March 12, at Galilee Baptist Church with burial in StrongHope Cemetery. Stringer Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Armstrong, 75, died March 10, 2002, at her residence.

She was a dairy farm owner and operator. She was a member ofStrong Hope Baptist Church, where she was a teacher, served oncommittees, and served as hostess for many years. She was active inCopiah County Homemakers Club.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Burnett BeallArmstrong.

Survivors are her daughters, Bonnie Armstrong Palmer of Wessonand Barbara Armstrong Lowe of Monticello; her brother, CarrollHarris of Crystal Springs; her sister, Margaret Page ofHattiesburg; and eight grandchildren and fourgreat-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Ministries of Brookhaven or toStrong Hope Cemetery Association.
