Services for Birtie Jean Beasley of Monticello are 11 a.m.,Thursday, March 14, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial inLowe Cemetery in Copiah County.

Mrs. Beasley, 72, died March 12, 2002, at her residence. She wasborn in Monticello on Aug. 26, 1929, to Araminta Miller Beasley andTroy Lee Beasley.

She was a retired seamstress with Kellwood Corporation. She wasa member of Wanilla Baptist Church. She was president of the VFWLadies Auxiliary, District Three.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband,William Clyde Beasley.

Survivors are her brother and sister-in-law, Franklin DewittBeasley and Shirley Beasley of Monticello; and several nieces andnephews.
