Services for Venion W. “Aunt Ben” Davis of Monticello are 1p.m., Friday, March 15, at New Zion Baptist Church with burial inthe church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Davis, 92, died March 13, 2002, at Lawrence CountyHospital. She was born in Lawrence County on Nov. 14, 1909, toNorris and Ruth Williams Wilson.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of New Zion BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Edgar J.Davis; her brother, J. W. “Bud” Wilson; and her sisters, MyrtleSmith and Allie Turnage.

She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
