Services for Annie Lee James Odems of Red Lick are 11 a.m.Tuesday, March 19, at Morning Star M.B. Church in Russum withburial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Red Lick.

Visitation is Monday, March 18, from noon to 6 p.m. with afamily hour from 6-7 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel inFayette.

Mrs. Odems, 92, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002, of heart failureat St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. She was born in JeffersonCounty on Jan. 22, 1910, to the late Robert and Goald JonesJames.

She was a retired school bus driver for the Jefferson CountyPublic School System. She was a member of Morning Star M.B.Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Major Odems;brothers, Sylvester James, Woodrow James and Robert T. James;sister, Frances Knight-Odems; stepsons, Willie and Abraham Odemsand Fred and Snook Larry; and stepdaughters, Mary Redmon and AnnieGreen.

Survivors are her sons, James D. Odems of Jackson, Robert M.Odems of Edwards and Joe R. Odems of Memphis; daughters, SureldaCook and Carlee Odems of Jackson; 22 grandchildren; 23great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host ofother relatives and friends.
