Services for Maggie T. Roberts of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.,Wednesday, March 27, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Wellman Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Roberts, 97, died March 25, 2002, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Brookhaven on Feb. 5, 1905, toElizabeth Jordan Thornhill and John P. Thornhill.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, George A.Roberts; her son, Murphy Roberts; and her daughter, Bertha M.Thames.

Survivors are her son, George Roberts of Shepherd, Mich.; hersister, Fannie Mae Smith of Brookhaven; and nine grandchildren and11 great-grandchildren.
