Services for Felicia Smith Cook of Brandon are 1 p.m., Saturday,May 4, at St. James M.B. Church with burial in HillcrestCemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m. at Williams Mortuarywith family hour from 6-8 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Cook, 32, died April 26, 2002, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Jan. 4, 1970, to Willie E. Smith andRoxie Smith. She was a 1988 honor graduate of Brookhaven HighSchool and a 1992 cum laude graduate of Jackson State University.She received her master’s degree in communication disorders fromAuburn University.

She was a speech-language pathologist at Beverly Health Care atCrossgates in Brandon. She was a member of St. James M. B.Church.

Preceding her in death was her father.

Survivors are her husband, Gregory Cook Sr. of Brandon; her son,Gregory Cook Jr. of Brandon; her mother, Roxie Smith of Brookhaven;her sisters, Virginia Armstrong of Brookhaven, Shelia Truvillion ofLansing, Mich., Virginia Washington of Waterloo, Iowa, Jennifer(Samuel) Watson of Taequ, Korea, and Samanthia Smith, Kathy Smith,and Stephanie (Stevie) Bobbit, all of Jackson; her aunts, TessieBrown of Natchez and Aline Hodges of Lansing, Mich.; her uncle, IkeArnold of New Orleans, La.; her sisters-in-law, Patricia Cook ofAlbany, La., and Vivian McGee of Hammond, La.; her brothers-in-law,Bobby Joe Frazier, Tommy Cook, Charlie Cook, Percy Cook, and MarkCook, all of Hammond; a devoted friend of the family, ArlustraHenderson; one great-nephew and a host of nieces, nephews, cousinsand friends.
