Graveside services for Lou Newman of Brookhaven are 3 p.m.,Monday, June 24, at Clear Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Newman, 61, died June 22, 2002, at her residence. She wasborn in Arkansas on Feb. 11, 1941.

She was a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death was her mother, Zora Hopper.

Survivors are her husband, Tommy Newman of Brookhaven; her son,Harry Evans of Terry; her stepsons, Thomas Newman and Lance Newman,both of Brookhaven; her sister, Jean Lowery of Homa, La.; and twograndchildren and one step-grandchild.
