Services for Allen Lee Langford of Meadville are 2 p.m. Monday,July 8, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in MidwayCemetery in Meadville.

Mr. Langford, 53, died July 6, 2002, at Natchez RegionalHospital. He was born in Franklin County on July 23, 1948, to BelHickingbottom Langford of Meadville and the late Edward “Tiny”Langford.

He was a construction worker. He was a member of MeadvillePresbyterian Church, where he served as a deacon. He was a veteranof the National Guard.

Survivors are his wife, Harriet Dee Langford; daughters andsons-in-law, Cindy and Michael Ashmore and Donna and LonnyGeoghegan, all of Meadville; two grandchildren; and a host ofnephews and nieces.
