Services for Ella Mae Chandler of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. Sunday,July 7, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in MacedoniaBaptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Chandler, 92, died July 4, 2002, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Monroe County on May 24, 1910, tothe late Henry Bennett and Mary Angeline Roberts Pace.

She was a retired sales person. She was a member of EasthavenBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Perry MackieChandler; son, Carl Dockery; brothers, Hosey, Henry, Willie, Georgeand John Pace; sisters, Ollie Ree Pace Beatty, Myrtle Pace Love andDella Pace Green Carlton; step daughter, Inez Chandler Schaffer;and daughter-in-law, Jane Dockery.

Survivors are her brothers, Jim Pace of Michigan, Andy Pace ofFulton and David Eugene Pace of Tupelo; sisters, Annie Pearl Lewisof San Diego, Ola Pace Ruby of Ocean Springs, Frances Pace ofTupelo, Bert Pace Anderson of Fulton and Mary Dell Pace Odom ofAberdeen; two granddaughters, Rebecca Fortado of Brookhaven andMary Ellen Fortado of Metarie, La.; step granddaughter, BarbaraGleason of Pennsylvania; great-grandchildren, August Fortado ofBrookhaven, Jamie Fortado of Richland, Mary Kay Snyder of Metarie,La., and Roy Fortado of Metarie; step great-grandchildren, AllenAroult, Marty Huffman and Carrie Huffman; great-greatgrandchildren, Nathan Snyder, Brittany Snyder, Alex Fortado, DaltonFortado and Noah Fortado; five step great-great-grandchildren; andnumerous nephews, nieces and friends.
