Services for Jearlean Goode McDuffey of Chicago are 2 p.m.Tuesday, July 9, at Pearl River Valley Baptist Church in LawrenceCounty with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday, July 9, from 1 p.m. until service time atthe church.

Mrs. McDuffey, 65, died June 29, 2002, at Bethany Hospital inChicago. She was born in Monticello on June 8, 1937, to the lateJames and Essie Bridges Goode.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents and sisters, Elizabeth,Mae Retha and Arthelia.

Survivors are her sons, Michael McDuffey of Madison, DexterMcDuffey and Kelvin McDuffey of Phoenix and Rodrick, Stevie andGregory McDuffey, all of Chicago; daughters, Glynis McDuffey ofChicago and Gilda McDuffey of Phoenix; brothers, Jerry Goode andKenneth Goode of Monticello, Orlando Goode of Hattiesburg and JamesGoode of Phoenix; sisters, Gloria Goode, Marilyn Goode and EthelGoode, all of Rialto, Calif.; and a host of grandchildren, nephewsand nieces.
