Services for Charles Edward Hammill of Caseyville are 10 a.m.,Saturday, July 13, at Beech Grove Baptist Church in ClaiborneCounty with burial in Bethel Cemetery in Lincoln County.

Visitation is Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the church. GlenwoodFuneral Home in Port Gibson is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hammill, 50, died July 10, 2002, at his residence. He was anative of Caseyville.

He was a welder. He was in the Army from 1969-79 and served inVietnam. He was an avid hunter and sportsman. He attended BeechGrove Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Beverly Jordan Hammill of Caseyville;his son, Charlie Hammill of Madison; his daughter, Michelle Herrodof Vicksburg; his brothers, Jay Hammill of Wyoming, Jack Hammilland Grady Hammill, both of Indiana, and Billy Hammill of Lafayette,La.; his sisters, Janice Ross of Louisville, Ky., and PeggyMatthews of Florence; and four grandchildren.
