Services for Catherine Elizabeth McCoy of Roxie are 11 a.m.,Thursday, July 25, at Roxie First Baptist Church with burial inRoxie First Baptist Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Rollins FuneralHome.

Mrs. McCoy, 77, died July 18, 2002, at Natchez CommunityHospital. She was born in Franklin County on Dec. 3, 1924, toMinerva Starks and Edmond Johnson.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Roxie First BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert L. McCoy Sr.;her parents; her daughter, Betty Floyd Sayles; her sons, JessieMcCoy and Colmon Jackson; her granddaughter, Jessica McCoy; and twobrothers and three sisters.

Survivors are her sons, Robert McCoy Jr. and Willie McCoy, bothof Roxie, Edmond McCoy of Miami, Fla., and Ricky McCoy of Fayette;her daughters, Peachie Morgan, Joyce Anderson, Marvel Carter,Amanda Hilliard and Debra Parker, all of Roxie; her brother, VernonJohnson of Jackson, La.; and 36 grandchildren, 38great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
