Services for Charles Richard Thurman of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Thursday, July 25, at Central Baptist Church with burial in NewProspect Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-10 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m.-1:30p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home.

Mr. Thurman, 55, died July 23, 2002, at University MedicalCenter. He was born in Brookhaven on Dec. 14, 1946, to Roy SheltonThurman and Mildred Smith Thurman.

He was the former president of Camrick Electric. He was anelectrical designer for I. C. Thomasson. He was a member of CentralBaptist Church, where he was a deacon and active member.

Preceding him in death was his father.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 34years, Myra Allgood Thurman of Brookhaven; his sons anddaughters-in-law, John Christopher and Kim D. Thurman of Clinton,William Kelly Thurman of Brandon, and Charles Ryan and Amanda M.Thurman of Hattiesburg; his brother and sister-in-law, WilliamCameron and Jan M. Thurman of Brookhaven; his nieces, Sara Thurman,Anna Thurman, and Candi Copeland; and his grandson, Wesley TannerThurman of Clinton.
