Services for Maxie Janet Smith Furr of Brookhaven are 10 a.m.,Saturday, July 27, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inHill Crest Church of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. and Saturday from 8-10a.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Furr, 53, died July 25, 2002, at Baptist Medical Center inJackson. She was born on Oct. 18, 1948, to Sam V. Smith and IrmaLee Smith.

She was a member of Hill Crest Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her children, twins Tammy andLaddie.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, MikeFurr of Brookhaven; her son and daughter-in-law, Todd and TiffanyFurr of Brookhaven; her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and BrandonStewart of Brookhaven; her sister, Mary Pannell of Brookhaven; andher grandchildren, Christian Furr, Sam Furr, and Dylan Furr.
