Services for Aaron Jackson Sr. of Meadville are 1 p.m., Sunday,Aug. 11, at New Fork U. M. Church with burial in MeadvilleCemetery. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jackson, 74, died Aug. 5, 2002, at University Medical Centerin Jackson. He was born in Franklin County on April 25, 1928, toCharlie Jackson and Elizabeth Cameron Jackson.

He was a former orderly at Meadville Nursing Home. He was amember of New Fork U. M. Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his son, Aaron Jr., hisdaughter, Lisa Jackson; his brothers, Walter and J. C. Jackson; andhis sister, Irma Jackson.

Survivors are his wife, Bessie Jackson of Meadville; his sons,Ronnie Fleming of Baton Rouge, Joel Jackson and Leevander Jackson,both of Natchez, and Henry Brown Lee of Detroit, Mich.; hisdaughters, Dorothy Moore of Natchez and Joyce Williams ofMeadville; his brother, Hilton Jackson of Meadville; his sisters,Annice Collier of Meadville and Carol Lee Jones of Indianapolis,Ind.; and 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host ofnieces and nephews.
