Services for Wessie Lee Thomas of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Monday,Aug. 12, at Macedonia M.B. Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from 2-7 p.m. with family hour from 6-7p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Thomas, 65, died Aug. 7, 2002, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on Sept. 11, 1936, to HenryCameron and Eula Cameron Holmes.

She was a retired cafeteria worker with Brookhaven PublicSchools. She was a member of Macedonia M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her son, MichaelThomas; and her brothers, Roy Lee Cameron and J. D. Cameron.

Survivors are her sons, the Rev. Larry Thomas of McComb, DavidC. Thomas of Wichita, Kan., and Al J. Thomas of Baton Rouge; herstepson, Johnny Ray Wilson of Brookhaven; her daughters, ShirleyJackson, Eula B. Longino, and Laurastine Dixon, all of Brookhaven,and Virgie R. Reed of Fort Hood, Texas; her brothers, AlonzoCameron and Gary Cameron, both of Brookhaven, and Rico Cameron ofHouston, Texas; her sisters, Oretha Cameron of Smithdale, AnniePittman of Houston, Texas, and Sandra Horne of Brookhaven; and 31grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
