Services for Vivian Erline Brown McClelland of the Moak’s Creekcommunity are 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Catchings FuneralHome Chapel with burial in Moak’s Creek Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 9 a.m. until service time at thefuneral home.

Mrs. McClelland, 96, died Sept. 2, 2002, at McComb ExtendedCare. She was born in Pike County on May 26, 1906, to Lewis LeviBrown and Nora Alba Williams Brown.

She was a homemaker. She was a lifelong member of Moak’s CreekBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, BillWillard McClelland; her brothers, Frank Brown, Ted Brown, andWilliam Gunnell; and her sister, Nora “Smiley” Williams.

Survivors are her sons, Howard McClelland of Brookhaven andHarrell McClelland of Summit; her daughters, Drunette Erline Bowlinof McComb, Lefay Holmes of Summit, Nora Margaret Anderson ofColumbia, and Billie Ann Ladnier of Biloxi; her sister, DixieCarruth of Summit; and 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren,and two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces andnephews.
