Services for Ruth Myers of Brookhaven, and formerly ofMendenhall, are 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 5, at First Baptist Churchin Mendenhall with burial in Mendenhall City Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Colonial Chapel FuneralHome in Mendenhall.

Mrs. Myers, 85, died Sept. 3, 2002, at Silver Cross NursingHome. She was born on Dec. 18, 1916, to Talley Taylor and Mary IdaBush Taylor.

She was a sales clerk. She was a member of First Baptist Churchin Mendenhall.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Joe Myers;and her daughter, Jackie Mangum.

Survivors are her son, Gary Myers of Brookhaven; her daughters,Mary Jo Tyner of Purvis and Lynda Swearingin of Columbia; and sixgrandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
