Services for Gertrude C. Hudson of Jackson are 2 p.m., Sunday,Sept. 8, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Brookhaven with burial inMt. Zion Cemetery. Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Hudson, 94, died Sept. 6, 2002, at Hospice Ministries inRidgeland. She was a native of Brookhaven, and had lived in Jacksonfor over 65 years.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church since childhood.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Herman Hudson; fourbrothers; four sisters; a daughter, Clara Peusch; a son, Dr. LeeHudson; and a granddaughter, Paula Peusch.

Survivors are her sons, Paul Hudson of Gulfport and T.C. Hudsonof McHenry; her daughters, Susie Peden of Flora and Betty Carlyn ofJackson; and nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, twogreat-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews andfriends.

In lieu of flowers, love offerings may be made to Mt. ZionBaptist Church, 680 Mt. Zion Road, Brookhaven, MS 39601.
