Services for Neal Ross Posey of McCall Creek are 3 p.m., Sunday,Sept. 8, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in DamascusBaptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Posey, 90, died Sept. 6, 2002, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Franklin County on Oct. 19, 1911, to thelate James Edward Posey and the late Fannie Godbold Posey.

He was a retired farmer and brick mason. He was a member ofDamascus Baptist Church. He served in the Army in World War II.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Josie Posey;and a brother, T.J. Posey.

Survivors are his sons, LaNeal Posey and Robert Lee Posey, bothof McCall Creek; his daughter, Judy Bynum of McCall Creek; and hisgrandchildren, Curtis Posey, Richard Bynum and T.J. Grice.
