Services for Mazie Lee Townsend of New Orleans, and formerly ofCaseyville, are 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 11, at Williams MortuaryChapel with burial in Mercy Seat Church Cemetery.

Ms. Townsend, 54, died Aug. 30, 2002, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Oct. 31, 1947, to Theodore Townsend andElsie Lee Townsend. She was a graduate of Eva Harris HighSchool.

She was disabled.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her brothers, JohnD. Calcote and Otha Lee Brown.

Survivors are her brothers, John Louis Townsend of Brookhaven,Roosevelt Townsend of Wesson, Henry Townsend of Bassfield, andJessie B. Townsend of Baton Rouge; and her sisters, DianneTownsend, Hazel Townsend, and Inez Newton, all of Brookhaven, LulaWilliams of Summit, and Mary Townsend of Oma.
