Services for Phillip Leon Lawrence of Jackson were 1 p.m.Saturday, Sept. 14, at Providence Baptist Church in Lawrence Countywith burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Lawrence, 51, died Sept. 11, 2002, in Jackson. He was bornin Tylertown on June 5, 1951, to the late Lloyd M. and Buena B.Lawrence.

He was a rotirod mechanic. He was a member of the Baptistfaith.

Survivors are his wife, Jue Dell “T.” Lawrence; son, James LoydLawrence; daughters, Emma Lawrence Merritt of Jackson and KelseyRosanna Verna Lawrence, all of Jackson; grandmother, TreviaLawrence; brothers, David E. Lawrence and Loyd Stanley Lawrence,both of Jayess; and four grandchildren, Cheyenne Lawrence, KennyLawrence, Vickey Lawrence and Avery Merritt.
