Services for Dorothy Ruth Langley of Wesson are 11 a.m.,Saturday, Sept. 21, at Wesson Baptist Church with burial inBeauregard Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mrs. Langley, 69, died Sept. 19, 2002, at her residence. She wasborn in Sunflower County on July 8, 1933, to John Henry Schaeferand Agnes Louise Mitchell Schaefer.

She was a substitute teacher for Wesson Elementary School. Shewas a member of Wesson Baptist Church, where she taught the GleanerSunday School Class for many years. She was president of theAmerican Legion Auxiliary Unit 79 in Wesson and served as thedistrict president for seven years.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Charles Langley of Wesson; her sons,David Langley of Jackson, Charles E. Langley Jr. of Birmingham,Ala., and Eddie Langley of Vicksburg; her sisters, Katherine Andersof Edwardsburg, Mich., Emogene Schaefer of Indianola, and MargieMorgan of Leland; her grandchildren, Scott Langley, Brandi Langley,Amanda Langley, and Emily Langley; and her great-grandchild, BryceLangley.
