Graveside services for Harriet Dixon Ballard Warren ofBrookhaven were 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 23, at Gum Grove Cemetery.Harrigill Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Warren, 81, died Sept. 21, 2002, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Lincoln County on May 19, 1921, toHiram Dixon and Ada Wactor Dixon.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her son, Larry Ballard;her brothers, Ransom Dixon, Clouis Dixon, Roy Dixon, and ClaudeDixon; and her sisters, Lillie Moak and A. D. Rushing.

Survivors are her sisters, Willie Mae Fauver of Brookhaven andEvelyn Ballard of Baker, La.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
