Services for Lester L. Davis of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. Sunday,Sept. 29, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mt.Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Davis, 88, died Sept. 27, 2002, at Beverly Health Care. Hewas born in Shreveport, La., on Feb. 3, 1914, to the late Lelandand Floy Segrest Davis.

He was a retired service manager for car dealerships BolingMotors and Wise Motor Company. He was a member of First BaptistChurch and was a deacon at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church for manyyears.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Laurie ClydeDavis; and sister, Lillie Merle Davis Goza.

Survivors are his wife, Evelyn Hickman Davis; daughter, KathyDavis Walker; and grandsons, Shaun and Matthew Walker, all ofBrookhaven.
