Services for Estus Lefroie Thompson Sr., of Bogue Chitto are 10a.m., Thursday, Oct. 3, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Wellman Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-10 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Thompson, 90, died Oct. 1, 2002, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Walthall on May 26, 1912, to Edmond Thompsonand Lovie Richie Thompson.

He was a retired mechanic. He was a member of Wellman BaptistChurch.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his sons, Gary Lee Thompson of Bogue Chitto, GlennAlbert Thompson of Columbia, Danny Thompson of Tylertown, LonnieThompson of Roseland, La., and Jimmie Thompson of Mendenhall; hisdaughters, Mary Frances Roberts of Morgan City, La., MildredLaverne Berthlot of Baton Rouge, La., Pauline Ivy of Gillsburg,Alline Watkins of Ridgecrest, La., Olline Arshire of Rayne, La.,and Mary Louise Walton of Mendenhall; his brother, Eddie Thompsonof Brookhaven; his sisters, Mary Brister of Jayess, and NettiePosey of Bogue Chitto; and 34 grandchildren; and 38great-grandchildren.
