Services for James W. Pearce of Seminary were 11 a.m., Thursday,Oct. 17, at Fairfield Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Mr. Pearce, 75, died Oct. 15, 2002, at Forrest General Hospitalin Hattiesburg.

He was retired from Mississippi Power Company. He was a memberof Fairfield Baptist Church. He was a Gideon.

Survivors are his wife, Sarah Pearce of Seminary; his daughters,Mary Pearce Laird of Bogue Chitto and Jewel Pearce Lee of Seminary;his sister, Beulah Romere of Winnie, Texas; his brother, Joe Pearceof New Augusta; and three grandchildren.
