Services for Rose E. Boarden of Wesson, formerly of Chicago, are2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26, at Old St. John M. B. Church with burialin St. John Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon through the family hour, which isfrom 6-7 p.m., at Tyler Funeral Home.

Ms. Boarden, 88, died Oct. 18, 2002, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. She was born in Wesson on April 19, 1914, to Loxey BoardenSr. and Estella Buie.

She worked for Kerr Glass Company of Chicago for a number ofyears.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her daughter, MaryButler; her brothers, Andrew Walter Boarden, Loxey Boarden Jr.,Scott Edward and Charles Boarden; and her sisters, Myrtle Connley,Emma Lou Boarden, and Amanda Hill.

Survivors are her brothers, Wilford Boarden of Chicago andWilliam Boarden of Lancaster, Calif.; her sisters, Glover Boardenof Wesson and Helen Williams of Chicago; and three grandchildrenand a host of nieces and nephews.
