Services for Estelle F. Barr of Brandon are 2 p.m., Monday, Oct.28, at Lakewood Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation is today from 4:30-8 p.m., and Monday from 11:30 a.m.until 2 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Barr, 94, died Oct. 26, 2002, at Crossgates Manor NursingHome. She was born in Lincoln County in 1908, and moved toGreenville in 1945.

She was a nurse at King’s Daughters Hospital. She enjoyedfishing, traveling, crocheting, flowering and spending time withher family.

Preceding her in death were her father, Oscar N. French; hermother, Lillian Earle Dove; her husbands, Ben Franklin and HenryBarr; and her son, Ben Franklin Jr.

Survivors are her son, Paul J. Franklin of Hollywood, Fla.; herdaughters, Irene Smith of Monticello and Kathleen Jones of Pearl;her brother, Howard N. French of Natchez; her sisters, DorothyBeach and Mary Belle Guillory, both of Natchez; sevengrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and onegreat-great-grandchild.
