Services for Dorothy Martin Hennis of Texas are 2 p.m.,Saturday, Nov. 2, at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home in CorpusChristi with burial in San Patricio Gardens.

Visitation is Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time at thefuneral home.

Mrs. Hennis, 73, died Oct. 30, 2002, at her son’s residence inSan Antonio. She was born in Lincoln County. She was a 1946 honorgraduate of Brookhaven High School.

She was a retired legal secretary. She was a member of theBaptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents, James L. Martin andEdna L. Martin; her husband, Harold G. Hennis Sr.; her daughter,Lisa Charmaine Hennis; her brothers, James L. Martin Jr. and MiltonE. Martin; and her sister, Imogene M. Case.

Survivors are her sons, Harold G. Hennis Jr. of Houston, Texas,and John Caroll Hennis of San Antonio; her daughter, Kaci Hennis ofHouston; her sisters, Olivia Newman of Brookhaven, Virginia Sebusand Lucille Weiss, both of Reno, Nev., and Carolyn Waterman ofYuma, Ariz.; her brothers, Marvin Martin and Charles Martin, bothof Brookhaven; and three grandchildren and onegreat-grandchild.
