Services for Robert Johnson of Brookhaven are 11 a.m., Saturday,Nov. 2, at Williams Mortuary Chapel with burial in HillcrestCemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 8 p.m., with family hourfrom 7-8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Johnson, 83, died Oct. 25, 2002, at his residence. He wasborn in Lincoln County on March 2, 1919, to Ben Johnson and LouisaJohnson.

He was a retired logger.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Lena MaeBanks Johnson; his brothers, Miney Johnson, Walter Johnson, LeroyJohnson, and Lucious Johnson; and his sisters, Bessie Richardson,Queen Ester Moon, and Hazel Smith.

Survivors are his brothers, Major Johnson of Brookhaven andWillie Johnson of Indianola; his sister, Geneva Webb of Brookhaven;and his stepson, Harvey Lee Banks.
