Services for Florence J. Halford of Monticello are 2 p.m.Monday, Nov. 4, at Bude Church of God Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Nov. 3, from 5-10 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 4,from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Franklin Funeral Home.

Mrs. Halford, 82, died Oct. 31, 2002, at Lawrence County NursingHome, where she was a resident. She was born in Franklin County onFeb. 28, 1920, to the late Jessie Jackson.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Bude Church of God. Shewas a former resident of Meadville.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Dan Halford; ason; and a sister.

Survivors are her sons, Daniel Edward Halford Sr. of Meadvilleand Donald Halford of Monticello; daughter, Nancy Trobaugh of PearlRiver, La.; sisters, Betty Tatum of Natchez and Rosalie Jackson ofJackson; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and fivegreat-great-grandchildren.
