Services for Darrell L. Lockett of New Orleans are noonWednesday, Nov. 13, at Powell’s Grove United Pentecostal Church inJayess with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation begins at 6 p.m., Tuesday, at the church. CatchingsFuneral Home in McComb is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Lockett, 28, died Nov. 8, 2002, at his residence. He wasborn in New Orleans on Dec. 21, 1973, to Thomas Patrick Lockett andMyrtis Louise Beard Lockett.

He was a licensed air condition and refrigeration technician. Hewas a lifelong resident of the Lake Catherine area. He was agraduate of Marion Abramson High School and Nunez CommunityCollege.

Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, JackCarson Lockett and Nonna Marie Sanne Lockett; and his maternalgrandparents, Charles Ray Beard and Ouida Christene Boyd Beard.

Survivors are his parents; his son, Devin Koretz Lockett ofMetairie; his brothers, Danny P. Lockett and David Patrick Lockett,both of New Orleans; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and otherfamily and friends.
