Services for Paul “Hooker” Moak Jr. of Bogue Chitto were 1 p.m.,Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Moak, 58, died Nov. 11, 2002, at Lawrence County Hospital.He was born in Lincoln County on June 9, 1944, to Andy Moak andLaura Jane Sykes Moak.

He was a retired truck driver. He was a member of First UnitedPentecostal Church in Wesson.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his grandparents; andhis brother, Buddy Moak.

Survivors are his daughter, Jennifer Goss of Brookhaven; hisbrothers, David Moak and Glen Moak, both of Brookhaven; hissisters, Clara Fuller of Crystal Springs, and Alberta Douglas,Neomia Boyte, Jo Ann Rials, and Cathy Martin, all of Brookhaven;his grandsons, Chris and Ben Goss; his special friend, Becky Carrof Brookhaven; and a host of nieces and nephews.
