Services for Susie Ritchie Carlisle of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.,Tuesday, Nov. 26, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inFair River Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Carlisle, 99, died Nov. 24, 2002, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 3, 1903, toWilliam Merrill Ritchie and Jane Boutwell Ritchie.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Southway BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, WalterHenry Carlisle; her son, the Rev. John L. Carlisle; and herdaughter, Lessie Touchstone.

Survivors are her sons, W. Luther Carlisle of Memphis, Henry E.Carlisle of Bogue Chitto, Shelby Carlisle of Natchez, and DocCarlisle and Bill Carlisle, both of Brookhaven; her daughters,Julie Mae Bankston, Lois Jane Hodge, and Lynda Susan Williams, allof Brookhaven; and 22 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 12great-great-grandchildren.
