Services for Helen Dennis Brumfield of Baton Rouge, La.,formerly of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 30, at St. MarkMissionary Baptist Church with burial in Carver Heights Cemetery.Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Brumfield, 65, died Dec. 25, 2002, in Baton Rouge. She wasborn in Brookhaven on Jan. 18, 1937, to Huriah Dennis and Ora LeeHolloway.

She was a retired health care professional. She attendedAlexander High School.

Preceding her in death were parents; one daughter, GwendolynBryant; and her stepmother, Aline Dennis.

Survivors are her son, Jerome Collins of Baton Rouge; herdaughters, Ora Lee Page of Brookhaven, and Donester Collins,Annette Lucas and Losie Kennedy, all of Baton Rouge; and 13grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
