Services for Travis Andrew Peyton of Wiggins, and formerly ofSontag, are 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 4, at Mt. Zion M. B. Churchwith burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is Friday from 1-5 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.
Mr. Peyton, 25, died Dec. 30, 2002, in a hit and run accident inWiggins. He was born on Nov. 1, 1977, to Dewitt Peyton Sr. andOllisteen Peyton. He attended Lawrence County High School.
He was employed with Wiggins Paper Mill. He was a member of Mt.Zion M. B. Church.
Preceding him in death were his father; his grandfather, MurphyLee Peyton; and his great-grandmother, Rose Lee Peyton.
Survivors are his daughters, Mandria Mercedes Kelly and PreciousBrianna Jetter of Atlanta; his fiancee, Felicia Nix of Wiggins; hismother, Ollisteen Peyton of Sontag; his grandparents, Ollie Simmonsand Sam Patterson, and Dorothy Peyton; his brothers, Dewitt PeytonJr. and Oliver Peyton of Sontag; his sisters, Celena Tyler ofTacoma, Wash., Cecelia Peyton, Greta Peyton, Jennifer Peyton, andElizabeth Peyton, all of Sontag, and Antoinette Stewart andFranchesca Nelson of Brookhaven; and a host of other relatives andfriends.
