Services for Edna Cain of Brookhaven are 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan.4, at Siloam M. B. Church with burial in Siloam Cemetery.
Visitation is today from noon through the family hour, which isfrom 7-8 p.m., at Tyler Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cain, 92, died Dec. 31, 2002, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Brookhaven on Feb. 13, 1910, to Louis “Bud”Kelly and Donna Byrd Kelly.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Siloam M. B. Church,where she was a member of the Mother’s Board and the MissionarySociety. She was a member of the Heroines of Jericho, Order of theEastern Star, and the Elks. She managed the Happy Land GospelSingers for a number of years.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, JasperCain; three children; four brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors are her daughters, Donis Patterson of Inglewood,Calif., and Nellie Beard of Brookhaven; her brothers, the Rev. LeonKelly of Denver, Colo., and Samuel Griffin of Norfolk, Va.; and twosisters, seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
