Cicero Nettles

Services for Cicero Nettles of Smithdale are 11 a.m., Tuesday,Jan. 7, at Temple Hill Church of Christ with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Franklin Funeral Home andTuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until service time.

Mr. Nettles, 93, died Jan. 5, 2003, at his residence. He wasborn in Franklin County on Aug. 5, 1909, to Joe F. Nettles and MaryJane Tarver Nettles.

He was a retired farmer. He was a member of Temple Hill Churchof Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Ethel McGeheeNettles; one granddaughter; five brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors are his daughters, Catherine Jordan and BobbieWilkinson, both of Smithdale, Maxine Carraway of Vidalia, La.,Martha Young of Summit, and Pauline Norris of McComb; his brother,Obie Nettles of New Orleans; his sister, Letha Fleming ofSmithdale; and 20 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 17great-great-grandchildren.
