Services for Jerry W. Johnston of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Thursday, Jan. 9, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inGum Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Johnston, 59, died Jan. 6, 2003, at his residence. He wasborn in Brookhaven on May 11, 1943, to Wesley G. Johnston andLeathie Rushing Johnston Hall.

He was disabled. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his father; and his stepfather, J.E. Hall.

Survivors are his mother, Leathie Hall of Brookhaven; hissister, Trudy Henry Neighbors of Saginaw, Texas; hisbrother-in-law, Carey Neighbors of Saginaw, Texas; his aunts,Myrtis Roberts, Eula Smith, and Myrtle White; his niece, Toni LynnJohns; his nephew, Christopher J. Henry; his great-niece, ChristinJohns; and his great-nephew, Mathew Johns.
