Services for Delma Wilson Dias of Meadville were 11 a.m.,Thursday, Jan. 16, at Damascus Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home was in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Dias, 93, died Jan. 14, 2003, at Meadville Nursing Home.She was born in Franklin County on Sept. 30, 1909, to George Wilsonand Iva Nora Arnold Wilson.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Damascus BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, AnthonyDias; her son, Michael Dias; her stepsons, Edward and Alvin Dias;her brothers, Charlie and Cammie Wilson; and her sisters, MyrtisLee, Ollie Chapman, Bessie Lee Wilson, Ruby Wooten, and GenevaWilson.

Survivors are her stepsons, Percy Dias and Harold Dias, both ofLouisiana; her stepdaughter, Gertrude Delone of Louisiana; hersister and brother-in-law, Callie and F. T. Stroud of Lucien; herspecial granddaughter, Tammie Dias; her special nieces, Iva LoisSmith, Jean Waldon, Patty Smith, and Lavelle Scott; hergrandchildren, Tammie, Toni, and Amie; and her great-grandchildren,Kristen, Magan, Ashley, and Briteny; and numerous nieces, nephews,cousins and friends.
