Services for Robert Collins of Monticello are 1 p.m., Saturday,Jan. 18, at Greater Mt. Olive M.B. Church in Oma with burial inPleasant Valley Cemetery in Oma.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m. at Tyler FuneralHome and Saturday from noon until service time at the church.

Mr. Collins, 48, died Jan. 12, 2003, at Hospice Ministries inJackson. He was born in Lawrence County on Nov. 24, 1954, to TobyCollins and Vera Newell Collins.

He was employed with Joe N. Miles & Sons Saw Mill in SilverCreek as a forklift operator. He was a member of Greater Mt. OliveM.B. Church.

Preceding him in death were his father; his brothers, JamesLewis, Henry Bill Collins, Charlie Collins, and M. L. Collins; andhis sister, Mattie Collins.

Survivors are his wife, Deborah Diane Bryant Collins ofMonticello; his mother, Vera Newell Collins of Georgetown; hisdaughters, Alicia Collins of Jackson, and Tiffany Collins andAshley Collins, both of Monticello; his brothers, Isaac Collins ofMonticello, Jossie B. Collins of Georgetown, Ruby Collins of YazooCity, and Roy Collins of Columbus; his sisters, Jessie Lee Oliver,Rosie Robinson, Mamie Collins, JoAnna Belton, and Jessie MaeDenson, all of Georgetown; and four grandchildren and a host ofnieces and nephews.
