Graveside services for Achsah M. James of McComb are 3:30 p.m.,Saturday, Jan. 25, at Wesson City Cemetery. Hartman Funeral Home ofMcComb is in charge of arrangements.

Miss James, 82, died Jan. 22, 2003, at SMRMC. She was born inUnion Church on Feb. 13, 1920, to the Rev. William Hosea James andAchsah Cannon James.

She was retired as a nurse with Baptist Hospital in Memphis. Shewas a member of First Baptist Church in McComb.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, James andWilliam James; and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James R.Cannon.

Survivors are her brother, Julian James of Colorado Springs,Colo.; her aunt, Ruth Cannon of McComb; her cousin, Becky Ruth Quinof McComb; her nephew, Dr. Warren James of Colorado Springs, Colo.;and her nieces, Tanya Miller and Tina Langlois.
