Services for Edith Alica Day Rayborn of Jayess were Jan. 25, atJayess Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. WilsonFuneral Home in Monticello is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rayborn, 79, died Jan. 23, 2003, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born on March 17, 1923, to Dock Curtis andEdith Adeline Boyd Day.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Jayess Baptist Church,where she was a Sunday school teacher and Women’s Missionary Uniondirector.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Survivors are her husband, William Sedley Rayborn of Jayess; hersons and daughter-in-law, Dickie and Gloria Rayborn of Brookhaven,and Dr. Tim Rayborn of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; her daughters andsons-in-law, Dr. Kay G. Rayborn of Arkadelphia, Ark., Suzonne andDonald Rutland of Jayess, and Tanya and Ronald Rutland ofGoldsboro, N.C.; her special friend, Nancy Rayborn ofHendersonville, Tenn.; and eight grandchildren; and threegreat-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren; and eightstep-great-great-grandchildren.
