Services for Willie James Harrigill of Meadville were today atHamburg Baptist Church with burial in Elmo Baptist Church Cemeteryin Jefferson County. Franklin Funeral Home was in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Harrigill, 73, died Feb. 8, 2003, at Franklin MemorialHospital. He was born in Franklin County on Jan. 4, 1930, to HenryHarrigill and Effie Boebee Harrigill.

He was retired from International Paper Company’s maintenancedepartment. He was a member of Hamburg Baptist Church. He served inthe military.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his son, Willie JamesHarrigill Jr.; and two brothers, Edward Harrigill and Henry WesleyHarrigill.

Survivors are his wife, Ruth Harrigill of Roxie; his daughters,Mary Ellen Westbrook and Pat Langston, both of Roxie, and RebeccaNetherland of Boynton Beach, Fla.; his brother, Claude Harrigill;his sisters, Marie Mullins, Heneritta Felters, Irene Jones, BettyRae Sanders, Pauline Russell, and Josie Cloy; and fivegrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
